I don't know if you can answer this, but as I'm in Germany, the adult patch is unavailable to me on Steam. I assume the itch.io adult patch is incompatible with the Steam version? Do I have to get the game/DLC a second time to access the adult patch, this time via itch.io? (I honestly wouldn't mind it that much because I truly love adwd, but money is always tight.)
Edit: I could have just tried it before writing this comment, as I dropped the file from itch.io into my game folder from Steam and it shows up as installed. I'll test it out another time.

I was curious why that might be? as I try to avoid buying through Steam if I can avoid it, I don't like that if they delete a game I lose all access to it, vs on Itch, where once I download it I don't need to worry, but that second DLC on Steam has me confused?
for the expansion dlc you'll have to download the file first just like any other itch.io game, then unzip/extract the files like any other game, but then go into the unzipped file itself, not the original game file so that you can see the dlc.rpa file. then while having this open, open up the original unzipped base game files until you see the game folder inside of it. navigate back to where you found dlc.rpa and drag that specific file (not the full folder) into the game folder inside of the unzipped base game files.

I noticed there are a few similar-looking games on your page, like A Date with Death - Expansion DLC and Beyond the Bet, and I got a little confused about which one is the correct DLC. I want to make sure I'm getting the right one before buying.
Also, I really appreciate the free adult patch, but I'm still new to Steam (I’ve only used it twice), so I’m not sure how to find or install the adult patch there. Is it included when I buy the DLC on Steam, or do I still need to download it from itch.io?

This might be a silly question, but is there a way to access the 'Thank you' notice that you get after downloading the DLC? 😭 I accidentally clicked out of it and didn't get to read it (only saw the "Thank you for downloading DLC" or smth like that). I know it may not seem like much, but I wanted to fully appreciate the game to its fullest and read the creator's note. I haven't been able to see any pictures up online who have the 'Thank you' notice, so I was hoping there was a place to access it somewhere :') Hope someone can help or post a screenshot of it! <3

I've bought and downloaded "beyond the bet" and I'm still not sure if I've managed to drag the rpa into the "game" folder (I'm using a Mac), I have no clue where to find the NSFW package for the life of me (is it included?) and I don't quite understand the instructions on how to download this hehe... can anyone help? :D
You need to move it out of your downloads folder, and perhaps reinstall both the base game and the DLC. If you can't get it to work you need to contact itchio for a refund.

Yes, you can use the itch version with Steam, for future reference!

The adult patch is never included, it's an optional add-on. To use the adult patch, you must also own Beyond the Bet, and then install it separately.

They are separate DLCs that add different things. Please refer to the game pages to read what is included in each.

It's at the bottom of the page to download, the same as Beyond the Bet.
