hii! maybe my device is secretly sucky or something but i can't purchase beyond the bet for some reason? i got the expansion with no issue but anytime i try to pay for beyond the bet it says it cant take the transaction, i tried to go through the route of the bundle and it didnt reject my card, and i tried other games and they worked as well, so it's just this i can't purchase
im not two and a half studios, but that's because the 'star options' are for the other expansion dlc that can be bought by donating $5.24 USD or more on the actual 'a date with death' game page. the beyond the bet only gives flower options at a certain point in the main game that begins like 'hey, casper', and u get the choice to begin the beyond the bet dlc or say 'nevermind' to go on with the regular story

I've been trying to download both the DLC and the Adult patch. Beyond the bet goes into the game files perfectly and is in the right spot, but I try to drag the Adult patch into the same spot, but it keeps going into the GUI files and not the game files. I've tried dragging it around, and it can be put into any other file group aside from the game file. Also, even without the adult patch, I tried to open the game after I downloaded the DLC, but I keep having an error message pop up that the application couldn't run the Beyond the Bet files. The game runs just fine on its own, but it doesn't seem to run the DLC for me. I'm on Mac and I used the website to download both the DLC and the Patch. Can someone help me?
AHHH RESOLVEDD I had to redownload all game files again, considering my ver of the game was from 2024... rip to my 12 pages of save files lol BUT I opened it all with no problem!!
I'm sorry if u don't mind me asking, how did u update? Did u simply just delete all the files and download it again, cause like I'm also having the same trouble u did and idk what to do.:(

I've had no problems with downloading the Beyond the Bet DLC (which I purchased a while back, and downloaded from the purchase webpage), but am really struggling with the patch. It keeps saying "no manager for installer unknown".

Please put it in Spanish!! I think I paid 9 dollars for the DLC and to support a bit, but honestly the Spanish version feels super necessary for people in Latin America who don't have much knowledge of English (╥﹏╥)

Are the adult scenes/dialogue skippable with the patch installed? Or would I need to remove the patch to skip those scenes? My sister sometimes uses my computer, and she isn't interested in such content, so I'm not sure if I need to delete the patch every time she plays.

i finally bought this dlc today and have been running into a lot of issues, for example errors in code kept appearing on day 7 for some reason as well as the chatroom just straight up not working on day 8, i've tried to look in the comments for answers or solutions but i can't really find anything :,) if anyone has a solution yet pls tell me i beg </3
I don't know if you can answer this, but as I'm in Germany, the adult patch is unavailable to me on Steam. I assume the itch.io adult patch is incompatible with the Steam version? Do I have to get the game/DLC a second time to access the adult patch, this time via itch.io? (I honestly wouldn't mind it that much because I truly love adwd, but money is always tight.)
Edit: I could have just tried it before writing this comment, as I dropped the file from itch.io into my game folder from Steam and it shows up as installed. I'll test it out another time.
I'm curious, I've been wanting to download the DLC for a while now, but I noticed on Steam it shows two separate DLC options, but on here it only shows the one? I was curious why that might be? as I try to avoid buying through Steam if I can avoid it, I don't like that if they delete a game I lose all access to it, vs on Itch, where once I download it I don't need to worry, but that second DLC on Steam has me confused?
for the expansion dlc you'll have to download the file first just like any other itch.io game, then unzip/extract the files like any other game, but then go into the unzipped file itself, not the original game file so that you can see the dlc.rpa file. then while having this open, open up the original unzipped base game files until you see the game folder inside of it. navigate back to where you found dlc.rpa and drag that specific file (not the full folder) into the game folder inside of the unzipped base game files.
i hope this helps, i can take screenshots and stuff and circle things if you're still confused :)

Please follow the install instructions on the page - you'll have to delete old copies of the game and reinstall.

Hi there, are you following the install instructions? You have to make sure to download directly from the page, not from the itch.io app.
I did that with the DLC download... I didn't realise that was the case for the patch too.
I just went back to the website and tried, and it worked. God I am so sorry, I guess I just didn't understand it correctly the first time.

Sorry, but translations are both incredibly costly and time-consuming for tiny indie teams like us, so we're not able to implement many languages.
The DLC isnt NSFW. You have to download the free adult patch (from either Steam or itchio) to get those scenes/options.

The NSFW content is clearly labelled - you can avoid them by not clicking the options.

Your computer isn't compatible with the games renderer. You can press shift + g in game and change it, but keep it mind it may lead to stuttering/lag.
